The ICON class in detail
Icon, Star, Legend and Hero of the Seas — ships 1 to 4 of Royal Caribbean's ICON class — are built to one identical design, with only minimal changes and improvements from hull to hull. All of them are built at Meyer Turku in Finland.
Four sister ships, one platform
Because the general arrangement is repeated across the class, entertainment technology packages, cable routes, venue layouts and commissioning procedures carry over from ship to ship. Experience gained on the lead ship goes straight into the next hull — which is exactly where RELI TEC adds value.
